Since Great Clips costs $20 to start, I think $15 isn’t realistic for a quality barber.

Lucky 27! Any of them; Sammie's, Kennedy's, Tom's, and my personal favorite Windsor! Sometimes if you go to Tom's you can get Mike, who is the owner and a great guy to talk to. You'd also be supporting a small business and veteran owned business.

Kinda hard to get a $15 haircut. If you want quality, Fort Collins Barber Shop is great. It is $30 but they do a great job

victoria at the floyd's on elizabeth is great. its been a while, so i dont remember their prices off hand

After tip I usually pay $40~ at Brooke’s Two-Bit. If you want a good barber you have to pay more, if you want a cheap haircut, you go to great clips

Groupon has a bunch of deals and also the beauty school does really cheap haircuts. Not certain on quality though but they may be under $10 even. The services are dirt cheap.

If you're not stuck on a barber, I highly recommend Jen at Molly's Salon. She has been cutting hair forever and only charges $28. She works T-Sat. [https://www.mollyssalon.com/](https://www.mollyssalon.com/)

Colorado Cutz, 9708898323 drake and timberline. Hands down. There's couple barbers in that shop. Some specialize in curly hair and otherstraight hair. Hair+beard around $30.

I highly recommend White Groves Barber in downtown Loveland, 20-30 min from FoCo depending on where youre coming from. Female owned and operated, very cool spot. Has a taproom in the back that sadly is not operational rn due to covid restrictions.
Can anyone recommend a barber shop where I can get a good shave?
Luke S. replied:
Interesting. A few years ago when I was learning to shave with a straight razor I called several places and was told that OSHA didn't allow barbers to use them anymore owing to disease concerns. Finally got a guy who said he'd meet me after hours and show me how to use my straight... If your interested in learning, check out reddit.com/r/wicked_edge

If you want a traditional men's barber, I recommend Lemay Barber Shop, across the street from the hospital on Lemay. Two guys, not a high-attrition shop like Floyds. Good haircuts, not too expensive.
turkybee replied:
Lookin Good barbershop in Windsor does an excellent job.
awakefc replied:
one thing I heard was "look for the hair stylists that have good hair cuts, then ask them who cut their hair." i second Ray's, the guy i went to did a straightedge, but unfortunately he has passed away. nothin' like a close shave. i do like the stylists at Sports Clips-sometimes it's worth it to go in there and get the hot towel and shampoo for 7 bucks, and not even cut your hair.

Brooke's Two Bit barber shop on college is a really good place for men's haircuts. Brooke really knows her stuff so try to book with her

I go to Mollys salon. All of the people there have 10 years+ experience and are great.

John Scott at John Scott Hair. He worked around barbershops and opened his own in the Aveda Salon on College/Harmony. It 's all by online appt, cuts aren't bank breaking and he is a good guy who really cares and remembers my cut each time I go in. I can ask for shorter here, longer there, and he knows exactly what to do. He will also work with me to try to figure something out and switch my cut up. I felt the same way as you when I was going to Floyd's. A stylist messed up the lines on my undercut, and then I left and never saw him again. I wanted to go somewhere where my stylist was held responsible for a good or bad job, so I had someone with a vested interest in the quality of the haircut they give me.

I just moved here recently and have been to both scissors & sinners and gallipot. I prefer gallipot for the free refreshments and head massage, my hair is very generic (short on the sides and just a bit longer on top) and I typically pay $30-$35 including tip. My girlfriend however, didn't really have the same experience as me but she had to get colored and cut.
