Hair Salons in Fort Collins Hi~
Just relocated here from Denver, and as the title suggests, wondering what salons people would recommend. The most important thing to...

Studio Be is probably the nicest salon in town. It is a bit pricey for me, but may not seem too bad if you're coming from Denver. I got my hair done a few times there before decided it just wasn't for me, and I noticed a handful of the stylists themselves had really some really awesome color done. I have never gotten any color done, but I go to Laurels Salon. It's a small shop, only two stylists, but I have never gotten a bad cut there. It's a little lower on the price spectrum than Studio Be, and I prefer the more relaxed environment.

Namaste in the Oak Street Plaza is owned and operated by a friend of mine who is AWESOME. Check it out! http://mysalonnamaste.com/

I would definitely recommend Roots in Old Town! It is a higher-end salon, the prices are comparable to Studio Be. Emily is fantastic, and loves to create cool looks. I went there to originally to chop off all my hair, and just kept coming back. Eventually even to dye it lavender! I have never walked out of there and not been completely in love with how my hair looks!

I have curly hair (its nearly impossible to find someone actually good with curly hair) and recently was recommended to [Salon Nani](http://salonnani.com/). Its a small salon in old town. Best hair cut I've ever gotten. Not sure how she is with color, but she was so driven to make sure my cut was perfectly how I wanted it and I never once felt rushed.

Gallipot has been good to me (and my wife and daughter). McKenna is the stylist we see. That they offer complimentary wine or beer is a big plus too.
Ok women of FoCo; who can recommend a good hair stylist in this town who doesn't require that I hock my child to pay for a cut?
Gretchen M. replied:
