I know Dolce Vitae in Fort Lauderdale the chef is from Guardiegrele the owner is from Pescara they also have a restaurant in Pescara and have just opened one up in Rome. Most of the staff are from Italy and the brothers take turns coming here to work the restaurant. I don't know them personally but it is a nice place to eat and maybe try to have a conversation. They met your mom and the chef knew your last name.
