If you and your friends happen to be really outdoorsy, the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club may have a public cabin that'll work for you. Most of their cabins which are available to non-members are hike-in and primitive. That said, PATC membership is $40/year, supports trail and shelter maintenance along a good stretch of the AT, and allows you to rent their more modern cabins (many of which are accessible without a hike).
I'm curious of the math behind how 5 couples is roughly 10 people.

My friends and I stayed here for a bachelor party: https://www.vrbo.com/739966 It has 5 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. It was a very beautiful cabin and was decorated with all antler / wood furniture. There was a giant gourmet kitchen and a grill. The basement was decked out with a giant TV, pool table, ping pong table, and arcade machine. It did get a bit cold upstairs, so I'd recommend bringing a space heater or extra blankets. There are some cool local breweries in Harrisonburg, a short 30 min drive. You can also hike Shenandoah or George Washington and Jefferson.
