Dr. Swinger didn't charge us for the initial visit on our blind feral, but we have been charged accordingly for all followups. He did say he would write scripts for the meds if we thought we could get cheaper (Walgreens, pay 20 for a year and all scripts are lower and they do animal meds) but each animal has to pay the 20.... arghghhg...

Ouch!! I have a presurgical visit scheduled tomorrow but he didn't charge me for the inital consultation but the meds were ridiculously expensive. Typical HAH - $28 for eye drops that I can get for $4. He said that follow ups would be $65 I think and surgery around $300. Kitten just has a film over his eye, simple procedure. I am going to verify allt he costs tomorrow morning when I go.

Idk, This is what I found: "Penn Foster has partnerships with two of the largest veterinary hospitals in the country, Banfield and VCA Animal Hospitals, who recognize the quality of our AVMA-accredited program. Students are encouraged to explore these organizations online and inquire about opportunities at their local hospital." so you may have to chance to find a clinical site on your own but it looks like they are promoting VCA and Banfield.
