Cats Exclusive is good, but if you cannot get an appointment I have personal experience with Dr. Eccher in Pembroke Pines. He is normally willing to work with prices, and does payment plans for rescues/those who need it. He's been amazing to us for the past 3 years. Just Paws Animal Hospital.+1 (954) 392-4567 I believe they close early on Wednesdays, but if you explain the situation, he may be able to get you in last minute. He has done this numerous times for us

I have friends who used Dr. Susan Heath and are very happy with her. I have called her twice for her to come out. The first time, her truck was in the shop. The second time she was going out of town. So, I have been unsuccessful in getting her to come out when I realy needed her. She works out of Ovilla.

For emergency and specialists I have to agree with Danielle, Veterinary specialists of SF on Sterling Road, across from the High School...they are very good! We took our dog there a few years ago with inverted stomach and they were excelent and saved my dog!

I think Hollywood Animal Hospital on Hollywood Blvd. is far above the others. The Dee family has been in practice for over 50 years. Our vet is Dr. Larry Dee. They have all kinds of specialists under one roof and they are caring and fair in their charges.

We've been to both St Francis and Hollywood on an emergency basis, both great. We kept going to Hollywood for routine stuff--they are far above the others as far as advanced equipment and they are very knowledgeable. Dr. Larry Dee is wonderful.
