Viva Chicken is amazing. I'm pretty impressed with the restaurants coming in phase 1. Wife says there needs to be more retail. I'd have to agree.
Good morning! I'm looking for good places to go out to breakfast while my parents are in town visiting. Any suggestions would be helpful! Tia!

Stacks, Terrace Cafe, Big View, Flying Biscuit

Wouldn't recommend Big View (quality) or Stacks in Waxhaw (customer service, in particular owner). Love the one in Matthews - be sure to get the French toast!! Famous Toastery was ok but way overpriced for what you get. The Yolk is delicious.

I always take out of town guests to Tupelo Honey Cafe for breakfast/brunch.
Can anyone give a recommendation for good Chinese restaurants nearby?

Jade Asian Fusión the best

Our family's favorite is Lee Cafe, over by Regent Park (next to Food Lion). Authentic Chinese food (eggplant, chicken, & salted fish in a clay pot) & Chinese-American favorites too, like sweet n sour chicken. Always a good sign to see many Asian people eating there. They have Sushi too. Closed on Tuesdays.

China Inn by los aztecas has decent carry out

https://www.facebook.com/240329935922 Jade Asian Fusion. Sushi Bar offers the best Asian fusion experience in the area. From Sushi, to Chinese chicken fried rice, you are sure to be delighted and become a regular after trying the amazing food. It's located at the Ballantyne village, on the second floor.

So me and my wife just recently moved to indian land, and we were wondering if anyone had heard of any retail store possibly coming to the area along with restaurants.
Rhett W. replied:
I heard on that same lot possibly a old navy but that was just a rumor when we moved here in September. I would really like to see a outback, olive garden, or ruby Tuesday. I like the food at Red Bowl but the past two times I've been there the wait has been terrible. First time the manager said 3 servers called in, the second time he blamed the kitchen staff and he was awful in trying to make the situation right. I will not go there again but it's sad it's the only sit down place to eat that can accommodate more than 50 people. There's definitely a demand!
