Marsha Stewart, yes, the Midget was owned by the same family as Furr's Party Shop. I was bartender there for a few years and no Linda Hunter Carroll, Jimmy Furr did not open the Downtowner. I worked for him 2 or 3 different times and if he did, someone else took credit and ran it..

Ric, I didn't know that Winthrop made a dorm out of that motel. I HAVE A QUESTION: Why does no one make any comments about The Midget Grill? They had the best hamburgers ever. I did not realize for many years that Furr's Party Shop had the same food because it was the same family. Right?
