I know ER vets are high in prices but last night for stitch blew my mind. I've spend thousands and thousand of dollars durning a week period on one my fur babies before because he was dying but he made it through. Yes, I bitch but it was unexpected. I didn't say it wasn't worth it because it was but it just took me by surprise. We're in a process right to get our eyelid less kitten (we rescued her when she was 10 days old) ready for her surgery by the end of this year. We have to travel to a specialist UF in Gainsville a couple times for consultant and test and then hopefully by the time come save up enough to get her procedure done so she won't go blind from infection from not having eyelids. So yes, I bitch but I don't regret taking him there and if I did, we would have came home and tried to stitched him up ourselves and then ya'll probably see our obituary in the paper saying "animal lover died trying to save &500.00 by trying to stitched her dog by themselves and it was unsuccessful"! LoL!

Emergency vet is the answer. They are great, hope you got got to meet Jenny!! Wuv her!! But it's not cheap. Nobody else is open after hours though!!

1 bottle alcohol, needle, fishing line and something to put the dog to sleep with. Drink the alcohol, use the rest to fix the dogs leg, save the $400 plus for more alcohol. Problem solved. Can do the spouse and kids the same way 55555555

We now take our animals to Dr. Harris in Blue Water Bay. Can't say enough good things about him and his staff. Real animal lovers! Hope the pup has a full recovery!

ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS use the ER vet at the corner of Mary Esther n 98! I took my show quality pug to those scam quacks cuz his eye popped out. They popped his eye back in socket, gave me 3 days of antibiotics n told me to take him to his regular vet in 7 days. 4 days later the infection was so bad cuz they didn't give him steroids to reduce the optic nerve that my dog lost his eye n almost his life. The $1,150 they charged me was nothing to the $4,000 I spent keeping him alive! I wouldn't trust them to euthanize my pet!

Not sure about vet in this area- we drive down to marietta. Dentist - we recently changed over to Cherokee Family Dental and I really liked it.
