I'm licensed and located downtown Grand Ledge. Please call me to discuss my rates. 517-775-2449. Thanks!
Bill M. replied:
Price isn't everything - we were willing to spend extra to avoid some of the daycare facilities that weren't rated as highly as others and avoid the daycare centers that had multiple violations. A little research and a few extra dollars was worth our peace of mind. Check for ratings here: http://www.greatstarttoquality.org/

My son went to Delta Mills on Ingersoll and Delta River dr. I loved that place. That was years ago, so I am not sure what they charge now.

Tammy W. replied:
I know you're asking for personal referrals (the best), but in case you or friends need it, Dept. of Social Services has this website for childcare: http://www.ccld.ca.gov/pg411.htm. Also has a link to contact regional and county offices to look at files of the daycares.
Katie E. replied:
The waiting list stink. I had Logan on all them and by referral I found an in home daycare that I love. But, sadly she isn't taking any new kids till appx. Aug. try www.in.gov under family and health. On family and health page you will be able to click on an area for child care. This site has childcare settings that are registered. Rainbow is a level 1 daycare which means that meet certain state standards. They are working to become a level 4 daycare. Level 4 is the highest ranking.

I looked at them last night online and liked what I saw Jackie Gerardot. I am very depressed at how much it costs. HOW DO PEOPLE AFFORD CHILDREN? maybe I should've thought this through a little more
Tara T. replied:
We did home daycare for our kids when they were infants-2. It's hard finding daycare centers that take infants and they are extremely expensive. Try out care.com for home daycare and the early childhood alliance will give you a list of daycares registered through them online.
Jackie G. replied:
Andrea they are a 4 on the Paths to Quality Care scale which is the highest and means they are nationally accredited. I feel your psi with the price of child are girl!! But I chose then be cause I also know my child cannot necessarily tell me if she's being mistreated.

Does anyone here have any great suggestions for Childcare in Fort Wayne?
Ashley E. replied:
If you can afford it and live in the area, Peace Montessori in New Haven is a good option. Actually any Montessori school is a good option (in my opinion) I think babies have to be at least 18 months to attend Peace, though.

Shelly S. replied:
Erin Ortiz-Sarrazine, one location thus far has said they need a doctors note to allow parents to bring food. As I'm just starting a search, not sure if this is standard across the board or they're the exception (in which case brining food/sticking it in the fridge wouldn't be a big deal).
Sarah P. replied:
