Stephen Foster at Zeba Salon(817) 913-0490. He's the best.

Lynn Pointer. Not a "barber" but damn good with scissors.
John M. replied:
Bobby at Camp Bowie Barber Shop is great. Very detail-oriented, and does a great job. Right west of Hulen on the south side of the street.
Can anyone recommend a good barber in our area?
Been driving to my old neighborhood for almost two years. I'd rather support a business closer to home
Sandra L. replied:
we have a great hair cutter who comes to our house; send an email to sandy.lamm.everett@gmail.com and I'll give you the contact info for him.

There is also a great place on 6737 Brentwood Stair #108.. Call Donna at 817-296-5734,, Tell her I sent you...

I know a chain entity doesn't sound as promising as an independent salon, but my son and I have been going to Fantastic Sams since he was 2 and he is 12. Trace is the stylist who has always handled cutting his thick, curly hair with 5 cowlicks, which can be quite a challenge to deal with and manage! But? It ALWAYS looks great & is exactly as requested. I'm sure she would be pleased to have you as a client and I would recommend checking her out. Trace 817-795-1574 let her know I sent you too. I find 1 of the most commendable things is that she has been there as long as she has, Fantastic Sams off of Eastchase by Ross.
In town for a few days and need recommendations for a good old-fashioned barber for a shave and beard trim.

>...recommendations for a good old-fashioned... Well if you're downtown I'd definitely recommend Thompson's Book Store. If you make it down to Magnolia street Proper and The Usual are good options as well. >barber for a shave and a beard trim. Oh, I probably should have kept reading.
Good barbershop? Can anyone recommend a decent barbershop?
I live in Downtown FT. Lauderdale but I am willing to drive.
Looking for a place that accepts walk ins....

Only just moved here, but was happy with Joe's Barber Shop on US1 / Sunrise. I've got pretty short hair though so I'm not difficult. It was $20

[Joe's](http://www.joesbarbershopftl.com/). Diego and Danny are the best.
Alex@Grum & Glam Unisex Hair Salon. 125 E Oakland Park Blvd, Oakland Park, FL 33334. It's about $20 for a cut and Alex is a nice guy - could use more business, too.

Barbers and Beer on Commercial and 18 th. Right across from Aldi. You can get a shave and massage there too.
Looking for a barber in Fort Worth that scissor cuts men's hair. Any recommendations? By scissor cut, I mean the sides are also scissor cut.

I'm not sure about scissor cut, but I always go to Floyd's 99 in montgomery plaza. I just went there today, and every time I go, I get a great outcome. If you're into music, you should at least check the place out. (http://www.floydsbarbershop.com)

Edward the Barber on Weisenberger St (not far from West 7 th) has been my barber for about two or three years now. He used to be at FW Barber Shop, but he's in his own one-room spot for now. He's about to open up a new shop on Rosedale where Melt is right now (once they move to Magnolia). He's awesome. www.edwardthebarber.com

Go see Charles off of Davis Blvd in north Richland hills. Best cut in town for a great price. He has been cutting my hair for 2 years now. You must make an appt through the style seat app. Makes for a lot less waiting around in the shop since he is the only barber in his practice

It's your hair, ask any of them to use scissors instead of clippers.

King's Razor on Camp Bowie by Cherry Ln. The guy who runs it, Mark, cut my hair since I was a boy up until I left for the Navy. Great man, great old-school style cut. The only thing he doesn't do is edge it up with a straight razor. Runs about $15 ish, and I used to tip him $3-5.
DougSR01 replied:
I'd go to the nearest cheapest place and tell them exactly how I want it cut. No need for recommendations.

Trio hair concepts. Ask for Amelia. I have annoying hair and she does a fantastic job. She normal uses clippers but I know she can scissor cut no problem.

Lemongrass Salon in Southlake. Ask for Lexie. Amazing job and uses scissors.

I get some really crisp haircuts at a few different Asian shops on Belknap. They will use scissors and charge 8 bucks. I always tip well as that's so darn cheap.

My husband uses Ridglea Country Club barber shop. They are more "old school" barbers & can definitely do scissor cuts.
