Tracy Weyler Owens my oleanders are in pots and i haven't figure out where to put them and if we might move eventually. They were a gift from a friend so i'd have to leave them here. but I've seen them cut as trees with braided trunks and trimmed as hedges elsewhere. They are a super hardy plant and can take severe trimmings. They are toxic though so have to be careful. I did see there is a dwarf variety but maybe this type of plant is not what Melissa is looking for. http://homeguides.sfgate.com/can-keep-oleanders-pruned-short-75689.html
