Cara, I had a modified gastric bypass by Dr Warnock after having my lapband taken out via emergency... I do not recommend the lap band as a result of my experiences with it & had I known that I could have gotten a modified gastric bypass, I would have done that to begin with... Mine was modified because I didn't have as much weight to lose as a typical gastric bypass patient... Any questions feel free to ask:)

Check out Dr Wenger. He's an orthopedic surgeon. He did both my shoulders. Really good with a great bed side manner. Explains everything where Even I understood. He's on north Tarrant but may have moved to Southlake.
