Anthony B. replied:
I've had chronic back pain for five years due to spinal stenosis and bulging disk so I understand. I have tried everything. I would recommend getting into a pain clinic and trying a couple rounds of epidural steroid injections. They didn't help me but everyone is different. My last options I have yet to try is getting a spinal cord stimulator implant put in my back or an implanted pain pump. I'm still trying to get the insurance to approve the stimulator. If you decide to go that route, I recommend Dr. John Moossy. He's a neurosurgeon and is located in Presby Hospital. He is one of the best. I wish you the best of lucky because I know being in pain 24/7 really sucks.

Please check out a group that may give you some pointers for pain relief. Of course, in order to use the product, you would have to have approval from your Dr. Check out Ashley Black Guru on Facebook. You can join her women's group to see what it's about and if it's something that would be helpful to you. I have seen a lot of testimonies to the positive side of her product called the Fascia blaster. This is just a small suggestion meant to be helpful. I hope you find the comfort and relief you are looking for. (I am not personally selling anything, just sharing about what I have seen).

I had a bulging disk displacing my spinal corn. Dr Kantor through UPMC Presby was amazing! He was very patient, and listened to me. I did not feel rushed at all. I was terrified, and he made me feel much better. He answered all of my questions honestly, and did not sugar coat anything. I'm 8 weeks out of surgery, and feel great. His reviews are really good, and the main complaint was that you sometimes end up waiting a bit for him to come into the room at your appointment with him. That is because he doesn't rush, and really listens to your concerns. I HIGHLY recommend him.

Anthony Consales!!! He is in white oak. Best person out there!!!

Dr. Bejanni for sure! He has an office on Pellis Rd. My husband had been to Neurosurgeons in northeast PA...in Philadelphia...in Baltimore and here in the Pittsburgh area. Not one doctor wanted to deal with his complicated back issues including Dr. Rutigliano...said he couldn't be fixed. My Chiropractor recommended Dr. Bejanni. He was the only doctor willing to help my husband. After 38 yrs. of horrible back pain he is doing wonderful!
Karen K. replied:
By the way...Dr. Bejanni is the highest paid Neurosurgeon at UPMC. His salary is one step lower than that of UPMC's CEO. I suppose they don't want to lose him.
Chrissie M. replied:
I just seen Dr Rutigilano and he told me there is nothing he could do for me. I basically have what you have with more complications. I wouldn't suggest seeing him.

I need to buy a computer fan and solar power supply for my green house heating system. I am having a hard time matching up volts, amps, watts, ect. After a lot of time...
Mesac F. replied:
You can buy a 12 volts dc computer fan (similar to this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005Z4HRDE/ref=mp_s_a_1_7?qid=1414480598&sr=1-7&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70) that can go connected to an on/off switch (or thermostat switch for automatic operation), connected directly to the 12 v battery. The solar panel should not be connected directly to the battery. A charge controller should be installed between the solar panel and the battery. That will prevent overcharging your battery, providing a longer life to it. If (lets say) the fan is 12 v DC, and it draws 1 amp per hour (1 a/h), and you need it working for 8 hours, that's 8 a/h. If you need 3 fans, that's 24 amps/hour. Your battery should produce at least double your draw [50 amp/hours] (because you should never discharge it bellow its 50% of charge). The solar panel should put out at least 3% of the battery a/h. If the battery is 50 a/h, you need a solar panel capable of producing 1.5 a/h... All this numbers are hypothetical for you to more or less understand how solar power works. There is a great group on facebook dedicated to solar power on vehicles (RVs)... They can help you there better than I could. Its called Solar Powered Recreational Vehicles. Hope it helps!
Sam G. replied:
Volts have to be the same. The panel has to be able to supply, at an ABSOLUTE minimum, the amount of amps that the fan draws. Volts x amps = watts. http://www.helcohi.com/sse/body/hp.html
Mark L. replied:
Here is an thread discussing how a 12 vdc Solar panel killed a 12 vdc computer type "muffin" fan after only one season - the thing that was discussed is how the additional voltage, which means additional power as the strength of the sun reaches full brightness at the panel, also means that the fan motor will get HOT because you're providing more than 12 vdc to the fan. http://www.batterystuff.com/kb/frequently-asked-questions/solar-charging-faq/run-directly-from-solar-energy.html

Weather Masters they are a local company based in Frederick. Their prices a very reasonable and they go out and do a estimate completely free with no obligation to buy.
dahvzombie replied:
I can't recommend anyone in particular but my experience in five years of contracting is to keep your expectations reasonable. We just got an exceptionally hot day. One where *everyone* is pushing their AC as hard as it will go, and maybe .5% of them failed *today*.Either you'll be waiting a few weeks or you'll be paying out the *#&@for prompt service. Probably a better idea to get a couple crappy window units and hold onto them for next time this happens.
Moice replied:
[Ron Ibex](https://www.manta.com/c/mt1 kfv2/r-ibex-heating-cooling-llc), no question about it. Two of the biggest, most heavily advertising companies in the area both told us about eight years ago that our units needed to be replaced. Ron came and for less than $1000 total has kept our units working fine since then. Highly recommended, and an honest man.
Fusorfodder replied:
We're using Tri-State with a service contract, and they seem fine. If you have a contract you do get priority on emergencies, which we've taken advantage of once. Consider a contract with someone regardless, they aren't crazy expensive and it can help prevent or catch major issues.

I had a good experience with Holtzople Heating & Air Conditioning. The techs were helpful when I asked about why something went bad and/or how to replace it. They even recommended a few things I could do on my own to save some money (as opposed to making more service calls).
