Anybody know of any good old school barber shops in seattle? I normally go to Rudy's over in Fremont but I'm looking for a change.

Acme Barbershop on Capitol Hill. I've been going for nearly four years and have had many of the people there cut my hair and never gotten a bad haircut. I go see a specific person now (Franki) but they're all great. http://acmebarbershop.com/home/

Rudy's is fresh out of beauty school hair stylists in a "barber"shop. I switched from squire to scotch pine a few months ago. Both are great shops. Grab yourself a beer and a haircut at the Scotch Pine. http://thescotchpine.com/ http://www.squirebarbershop.com/

Scissor's Palace on Mercer in LQA is decent. I personally go to Smitty's on 15 th NW in Ballard. All about that straight razor neck shave.

Tim's and/or Jim's on 15 th in Cap Hill. $17 haircut and they vacuum your head afterwards. It's the best.

If you're in the downtown core try [Stewart Street Barbers](http://www.stewartstreetbarbers.com/) - I've been going for about 15 years. http://www.yelp.com/biz/stewart-street-barbers-seattlehttps://local.yahoo.com/info-22136389-stewart-street-barbers-seattle?csz=Seattle%2C+WA&stx=Barbers

If you're in the North-end, I'd recommend The Cut. $12 for men's haircuts.

U district has a good one. It's genuinely old and divey, with old guys in it who cut your hair well and fast, not fake "old", expensive, and hipstery. So basically the exact opposite of Scotch Pine. Which looks like it made its logo with the hipster logo generator that is floating around facebook.

There is a barber in the Swedish hospital building. It's been years since I went there but he was good when I went. Expensive, but good. Also Boston barber on top of QA is good, though cash only.

How old school do you want it? The barbershop on 15 th Ave (x E. Harrison St) on Capitol Hill has been there for a few decades. I don't know if it's good, I've never gone, but it sure has survived a long time.

Squire Barbershop in downtown. Make sure you call ahead of time as they are always busy. Mondays-Wednesdays tend to have to most openings in my experience. They are great.
