Hey Fresno: Can anyone recommend a transportation service for the elderly? You know - doc appts, grocery store, etc?

No one makes it easy, just gotta keep on it....income is a very big deal when it comes to getting services...even if you want to pay. Frustrating. Try www.ca.gov/programs....senior info line 800-510-2020. If they are closer to Clovis, they have a service that charges according to packages carried on the bus but I cannot remember the name. Try calling senior residential homes, have seen bus service to Kaiser but cant remember the name offhand. (having senior problems myself I guess.) Now that I am thinking beter.....Convelescent homes have brochures in their lobies with all the info you will need...just walk in. I always thought if I need this info...will know where to get it....then FORGOT!!
