Hi Stacy, my dermatologist is Dr. Jane Chew at Columbia Dermatology across from HCCC. She is very good clinically and is a straight shooter - her P.A., Jeff Fratelli, is aIso VERY good, I really like them both.

Dr. Chew is awesome!

Love Dr. Chew too!

Stick with Dr Rusonis group. Dr Chew does not do mapping. If you are looking for a dermatologist to do mole checks Rusonis is way more advanced in quality of care. They use a computer to map all the moles in your body. When you get your annual check up its easy to see when a mole is changing. My husband has had melanoma and we were shocked when Dr. Chew examined him in less then 30 seconds and never documented any of his info. We returned to Dr Rusonis group. It will take a while to get an appointment for a mole check but it will be quality.
Any referrals for a good dermatologist in the area?

Dr. Nguyen is great! We have been going to her for years, started when our pediatrician thought my daughter had ringworm but treatment wasn't working. dr. Nguyen figured out in a snap that it was a granuloma annulare, which I had never even heard of before! Successfully treated it and I've been a fan ever since!

We see Dr. Pearson off St. Johns Lane. We transferred from seeing Dr. Nguyen. I like him much better!

It's a little bit of a drive but Dr. Miller and Dr. Collins at Johns Hopkins were fantastic with my son. We've been to other doctors and nothing helped. They were on time and the entire staff was caring and very informative in explaining things to us. Definitely worth the 25-30 min drive to the city.
