Some mineral oil or olive oil may help until you can get drops at the pet store or at the vets, might keep it under control since the mite eggs hatch around 4 days, good luck! http://cats.lovetoknow.com/Home_Remedies_for_Cat_Ear_Mites

Check out Care Credit. No interest for 90 days on major purchases. Pretty easy to qualify. It's nice to have on hand so you always know you can take your animals to the vet if they need it, no matter how your finances are doing.

Wow, it's sure great to see so many people with so many recommendations! What a great place to live! I'll still go with Easton Animal Hospital, to me they are the best. One of my co workers goes to Gahanna Animal and I don't think they get the best advice or treatment, they see Dr, Worman. Latest was their cat was allergic to fleas. I've never heard of that, but I will ask my great people at Easton when I see them next week...

We also go to Gahanna Animal Hospital and have no issues. We almost always see Dr. Rebil? for our black lab and she is always really nice and knowledgeable. They are pretty reasonably priced too. We first started out in Westerville because that's where we adopted our puppy, and I remember It being expensive...

Regina T. replied:
Going to Gahanna Animal Hosp for over 20 years. Love love love Dr Rich.
Sarah M. replied:
Dr rich is the one I had a bad experience with, actually. Maybe I caught her on a bad day, but I was surprised that they took my dog out of the room for bloodwork and vaccines. I have been to several vets with many animals and that has never happened to me. They had to repeat the draw on my already stressed pup because it was done incorrectly and the "courtesy" nail trim left my him with several toenails bleeding in the exam room. I also didn't find her very thorough or attentive. I have met Dr. Clay and would definitely give her a shot, or it sounds like Cherry Way is a sure bet. I also have a younger dog with some separation anxiety/boredom/destructive behavior issues and would welcome someone with experience in that. Dog's Only recommendations have not worked well for us. Thanks everyone for your input! I am glad to know I have some good options in town.

I don't like Banfield. They tried to convince me a cat had a dire fatal illness and needed to be put down when the real problem was a pill had gotten stuck in his throat and just needed to dissolve. I like Easton Animal Hospital at McCutcheon and Stelzer.

All of my pets since i was a child (1960's) went to Gah. Animal Hosp. No more. Several bad experiences. Our concerns were ignored and never addressed. We've been going to Dogs Only Medical center on 62 just north of Beecher Rd. they are the best.
Scot M. replied:
Been going to Gahanna Animal Hospital for years and have had great experiences there. I've used different doctors there over the years and haven't had a complaint about one. Quick call backs, easy appointments. I do take one of my dogs that has untreatable cancer to a hollistic TCM vet up north for a different type of care that Gahanna AH can't provide.
