Take it to an estate jewelers, Esterman, 11301 Rockville Pike, Kensington. Google them for phone etc. Also Colonial Jewelers on Market Street, Frederick, are a family jewelers and I believe trustworthy.

Secrete Jewelers on Old Georgetown Road in the shopping center with Red Door Salon and Chopt. They did a great job on my mom's engagement ring.

Of you want to come to Frederick I highly recommend Gold Thumb. I have gotten 2 custom pieces of jewelry made and have sent friends there that are also very satisfied. One friend got a ring sized and there prices were excellent. Very reasonably priced all around .
