Jess Painter, $37.50/day for 2 dogs at Mystic Acres Kennel in Spring Hill. I highly recommend them! If they share a run, it might be less, I'm not sure.

We go to Mystic Acres in Spring Hill. 913-592-9998 mysticacreskennel.com They are a family business and very friendly. It cost us around $17 per dog for 2 dogs. They charge $2 per day for playtime which is your dog only. They don't do day care. Also we ordered baths for the dogs so when we picked them up after a week they were happy, healthy and smelled good!

Miami County Vet in Paola may be a good option. They cater to big farm animals, but serve all animals - as a result, they're much more reasonable than most. Also, they take docs straight from the Vet school to intern, they're really good.

I wouldn’t trust a fly in the care of Gardner Animal Hospital. If you want to PM me I’ll explain further but long story short if I wouldn’t have gotten a second opinion my dog would have died.

We got to Southside Pet Hospital in Olathe. Really couldn't afford an office visit on top of shots for 3 dogs anymore; they didn't charge that $45/each dog office fee.

I think Oakbrook might be less expensive. I started with Gardner Animal Hospital 10 years ago and because of price, I take my animals to Oakbrook and have been happy. Gardner Animal Hospital is very good - just a little more pricey. There is also a vet in Spring Hill.

You can possibly get any vet to look at the rat, but for small animals I especially suggest Arbor Creek!! Dr. Terrant has taken care of my Guinea Pig and has taken a special interest in care for small animals and Amphibians. Give a call in to ask when what they have available. Another good one is Metcalf South Animal Hospital.. Dr. Truman. Located at 7280 W. 105 th Street Overland Park, KS a little drive but worth it.She doesn't try to make you buy unnecessary vacs if you don't need them.

I took my dog 3 days ago to south west vet. It is in Olathe at 7 and Dennis. (913) 829-1919. They are very reasonable and wonderful people.

Cottonwood Animal Hospital in Ottawa is great! My cat had cancer in one of her front legs and was misdiagnosed at Oakbrook. At one point, she was taking Prozac for her behavior! Finally had her evaluated again at VSEC and their xrays confirmed the cancer, however I did not want to pay their price for her amputation. Went to Cottonwood and had the procedure done there at a fraction of the cost. I never felt pressured to do anything unnecessary during her treatment, everything was explained to me honestly and in a way I could understand. Dr. Trent Lancaster and his staff were truly amazing and all treated her like one of their very own!

We take Dozer to Oakbrook. Love Dr. Buckley. Poor Hos! I hope he heals fast!

Our dogs go to Eudora Animal Hospital.....they are wonderful. When our dog had an ACL tear they recommended going to KState Vet School for a second opinion and possible surgery. (Vet schools have much lower surgery costs and are highly supervised, just like teaching hospitals for people like KU Med.) KState had us keep our dog as immobile as possible (no stairs, no jumping, only very light amount of walking, secured in a crate when we weren't home and at night) for six weeks to see if it would heal on its own....and it did.

I'm sorry, only thing I love more than Gardner Animal Hospital is my vet back in Denver. More specifically my corgis are happy there. They are great in my experience, but a second opinion is never discouraged. I mean they let me take videos so I can show my husband the proper way to apply Gidgets butt cream since he couldn't be there and my hands don't work

Years ago before switching to him I Took my dog to every local vet within 30 minutes and could not get any real answers until I went to him. He didn’t waste my time or money. Simply looked her over and knew immediately she needed a specialist.

Heritage Animal Hospital in Spring Hill, she did our pit bulls. It has taken a while to fully recover but hays mostly because we can keep her down!

Take to Dr Grey or Dr McFadden Southside Pet Hospital in Olathe. I have a bulldog and wouldn't trust anyone else with my furbaby!!

Go to Oakbrook. I just switched my dogs to there from Gardner Animal Hospital. My senior lab was misdiagnosed with a thyroid disease, they didn’t tell me he had an ear infection and incorrectly educated me on the X-ray results of his tumors.

I've used Dr Warwick at Olathe West Vet. Near Santa Fe on Parker for 17 years.He even has a bulldog for an office pet
