Could have them check out mount sterling loop... Big Creek -> Walnut bottoms (site #37) -> Mount Sterling (site #38) -> Big Creek.... The views from the fire tower on mt sterling are nice and there typically are not many people up there. the mileage each day is very little, so they can relax... 5-6 miles a day roughly
