We use Dr. Tarlton at Austin Avenue Animal hospital & he's super cheap compared to other vets. I've moved all over the Austin suburbs & still drive back to gtown for him. Make an. appointment though because they have weird hours.

Any walk in clinics in Georgetown that accept Aetna health insurance?
LaShell B. replied:
Try FastMed Urgent Care on Williams. Their website says they take Aetna, BUT the best bet is to call your insurance and ask for approved clinics. There have been times when I went to a clinic that advertised my insurance only to find out that the specific plan I was on was NOT covered.

Place on Williams Dr. close to the HEB and I think Castle Dental.

Dr Tarlton, Austin Ave Animal Hospital - very reasonable. He does surgeries on Tues/Wed but you'll have to make an appointment first - his hrs are Mon-Wed 9am-3pm,Thurs 9am-12noon, closed Fri/Sat. I've taken over 20+ of my rescue pups to him for spay/neuter/HW testing, vaccinations, de-worm etc. and never an issue at all. He can also do a heart worm test at the same time that your pet is under anesthetic. He also has a low cost vaccination clinic at his animal hospital or at local farm supplies etc on specific days of the month e.g. Gtown Farm Supoly (ask at the front desk for details). Sometimes hard to get thru on phone but do persevere or drop by animal hospital in person. He is so nice to deal with and wonderful with animals. Everyone loves him. He charges affordable rates and gives back to his community bless his heart. 2201 S Austin Ave, Georgetown, TX 78626 Phone:(512) 863-5319
