I was kept awake by a family of raccoons having a party in our attic last night. Does anyone know of a good Pest Control Service?

Sheila T. Starkey Hahn we also have a couple of traps- I think Peggy has one and a neighbor has the other- you can buy them at Germantown Hardware. You'll still have to get someone to remove it from the trap. Or, if they have babies in your kitchen ceiling, someone to get those too!
Beth S. replied:
Try Have A Heart (they trap + remove) or Kridder Ridder (I've seen them in my neighborhood).

(901) 757-0756 is the number for have a heart Jodi is the guy you want to talk to. His wife named the business. Lol. He comes out traps AND fixes the hole where the critter got in. Very reasonable and reliable. I highly recommend!!
Alright well we've seen a roach. Before my wife burns the house down, who's the best pest control company everybody uses around here?

We use Foundation Pest Control after inheriting some lovely pest problems from this twelve year rental we bought. I'm a happy wife now, and they return whenever (if) you see anything. College friend, reliable.
Who's happy with their pest control service in Germantown?
I'm ISO a more responsive company. Thanks in advance.

Inman Murphy - not from Germantown but have used them for 20 years and would never switch. They even came out on a Sunday when I had a problem no questions asked. Took care of my problem and came back the following week to make sure that I had no more problems.

Ants are using that pathway for a reason. So it may be easier to get a quarterly treatment from a pest control. I use Kee Pest control and it's a local company. For about a 3K sqft house, I recall paying about $50-75 every quarter and if I saw anything crawling between the sprays, I think they'd do it for free.

Tried everything under the sun for 19 years from a store, homemade and local pest control companies for ants, etc. Nothing worked. Finally used Jameson Pest Control and haven't seen a bug or spider in 2 years! They are THE best in town!
Anyone know of a G'town Pest Control service that uses natural mosquito control that works? Someone posted on here about some type of clove repellant that worked but I...
Diana S. replied:
Placing plants that repel mosquitoes strategically around definitely help -- and you can brush them on yourself, and "pet" them to release the oils. Citronella (scented geranium), lemon balm (member of the mint family and grows literally like a weed!! and you can make tea with it, and use leaves in salads - I give away tons), lemon grass (yummy for Thai and southeast Asian cooking). Sprays with lemon, lemon grass, citronella, and eucalyptus work well -- I have one I got from Lowe's. Dump all your standing water frequently (pet bowls, toys, plant saucers). If you have a pond you can get free mosquito fish (gambusia) from Vector Control near CBU. Yarrow is also a mosquito deterrent -- I make my own bug spray with yarrow and lemon essential oil and it works great.
