I would not buy a house without Brad Sterling at Amerispec looking at it. He crawls into every nook and cranny and is extremely thorough. Some inspectors don't go under houses or crawl through attics. He does not miss a spot.

Congrats! We just got an offer accepted for our first home too. We were recommended Jim Prudhomme with Accu-Check Home Inspection. We haven't made an appointment yet, but a close friend used him for their inspection and really liked him.

I own 4 homes and I have always and will always use Jim McGehee with Homescan Inspection Services. 901-754-1318. 3 of my homes are over 100 years old and he specializes in old midtown homes, but I figure if you can inspect something that old so thoroughly, you must know what you're doing.
