I am looking for recommendations of friendly taxi services that serve Godalming on an account basis, so that my elderly mother in law and her carer can go to doctors...
Does anyone have a recommendation for a Physiotherapist that can either do a home visit or offer advice over the phone and who doesn't charge extortionate fees to do so?...
Sams S. replied:
Bevan Wilson have been brilliant and because there are several practitioners, they can find the one to suit you. I had lower back problems (very severe) but they have worked an absolute miracle and the pain I had suffered for years has gone. http://www.bevanwilson.co.uk/
Debbie A. replied:
Wayne Chester-Davis is outstanding! remember everyone is entitled to their opinion as to who is the correct practitioner for their problem, there is someone out there for everyone's medical problem, it depends on what suits an individual. I am a Sports Therapist (now retired) and over the last 25+ years in practise have become very open minded regarding that. Patients in pain are grateful to be helped and want a 'quick fix', but do not always continue with treatment/rehab/exercise/advise and preventive maintenance when they feel better.

Nic Langlois at lucks Yard he is a miracle worker for backs

Nick C. replied:
I also use Bevan Wilson for physio, but for Chiro, Wayne's the Don!
Amanda C. replied:
Jane or Becky at Backtogether Physio - brilliant, and I'm a remedial massage therapist so may be able to help settle the muscle fascia down and help the pain
Claire-Louise E. replied:
Rob Butler is a fantastic physio! Hope you managed to speak to him.
Kerry P. replied:
Tone at Lucks Yard is amazing, and they have a team of specialists there aswell. Worth a call.
Can anyone recommend a decent vet in Godalming? I so far know of pet doctors and the little vet by the station. Any recommendations for either or others??
Amanda G. replied:
Definately Milford vets.
Jayne W. replied:
Station vets in Godalming are really wonderful.
Angela E. replied:
Northdowns Melford fantastic vets been with them years
Carole L. replied:
Oak Barn Vets Shalford. Personal service. Amazing and caring.
Michelle S. replied:
Station vets in Godalming are lovely, but if you need emergency out of hour's treatment you would need to go to Stockton Road Guildford. We have moved house and joined Northdown in Milford and also highly recommend (emergency out of hours on site which is always a good thing)
Caroline H. replied:
We've always found Pet Doctors to be good. I know it is a chain but the staff seem really caring and helpful.
Sarah D. replied:
You won't find more caring, compassionate people than Godalming Vets by the station. Have been amazing for us over the past 7 years, both in emergencies and routine situations. They may not be flashy, but Andrew and his team know their stuff and get to know you too
