I've already heard bad things about Curry General Hospital from 3 different people

Alice Taylor is a great midwife and shes been doing it for years and years...she delivered my moms kids (including me) and my mom loved her..people still love her..and i had my son at Curry general...had a c-section and it was an overall ok experience...had i been somewhere else like coos bay, i probably wouldnt have had to have a c-section...but he came out healthy and it all worked out:)

Just don't understand why everyone is attacking Chad on what he said. He posted his experience, just like everyone else. I personally, wouldn't see Alice Taylor, she is soo high strung and wouldn't see Shilo because Alice and Shilo switch days like women change underwear and you wont know who you are seeing until you walk in the office. I am seeing Dr. Fritts right now, but I had a friend who was seeing him that just had her baby, and she wasn't prepared for the birth AT ALL, let alone the C-Section she wound up having to have. It also has been proven by our own research and others, that Curry General does not have all the resources and the other cool bonuses that Coos Bay and Crescent City has. Yes, they do have their pro's but they have their con's too. Not trying to bash on my own employers, but if we weren't moving soon, I would be transferring to Coos Bay. As for your first child, you need to be helped every inch of the way and told what is normal, what isn't, and what to be prepared to face in the not so far future. That's my opinion anyway. I

If your wife is a high risk pregnancy, I would say go to Coos Bay. If she is not, the Curry is just fine
