Different vets are good for different problems. Helps if you know their specialty. I know Dr. Robinson is trying to phase out horses/equines, unless they are really well behaved. He doesn't feel comfortable around them. And it best not to take or give advice from/for lay vets (ie, not certified vets), that can get everyone in hot water. I would not recommend any medication until you know what is going on. It can mask symptoms and make it harder for the vet to figure things out. Sometimes giving pain killers can cause much more problems then they may seem to solve. Good luck. For equine problems, I like Rogue Equine. In Eagle Point.

Dr. Collins is practicing at the clinic in cj. I want to say he was delivering babies in GP before coming to the clinic.....?
Dawnette T. replied:
I've heard great things about Dr. Hitchcock also.
Carolyn Z. replied:
Yes Dr. Collins was ob/gyn at Grants Pass Clinic, then he retired. What I heard was that he could not practice as a doctor because he had been away too long from practicing medicine and would have to go back to school, and that he can do pap tests and discuss things with patients but that was about all. Don't know if true or not. So take this with a grain of salt.
