Maybe it was Dr. Mamie Pallesen. She was the most caring Dr. I ever had!! She had her office in her home on Lodi Ave. She was a very kind Dr. She made house calls many time to our home!! She was NOT mean!!

I had thought so too...except the more I think about it...I don't think Dr. Mamie was German. She was European decent....but I'm thinking Danish. Her husband's name was Viggo.

Dr. Mamie Pallesen?? Her office was across the street (almost) from the Sunset Theater (in her home). She may have been German...but she did have a rather stern face. She delivered all three of us kids in my family.

Dr. Kultzen was a stern woman, but an excellent doctor. I've already shared the story of how she was instrumental in treating me for a life-threatening case of pneumonia when I was 7, and was our family's pediatrician for many years. She just passed away July 6 th at the age of 93. I will never forget her.
