Ian Neilsen. Addison St, goulburn. Ian specialises in horses and has a lot of knowledge and is a great horseman - taking the time to get to know the horse before he works on it. Less stressed horse - means quicker assessment and treatment time

where abouts are you? We (Brindabella Equine vets) have one and do visit Goulburn, however my colleague Ian Neilsen also has one and actually lives in Goulburn. His number is 0432446644. He is also a well regarded equine lameness vet (if you think your horse needs an X-ray due to lameness). Cheers Olivia.

I have a 20 yr old gelding that needs sedation while having his teeth done. Does anyone know of an equine vet/ dentist around Goulburn that can do it. Thanks.
Laura M. replied:
Brindabella veterinary is a dentist as well and so can sedate. Very expensive though. Lucy O'Shaughnessy is an equine dentist and she does a run with a vet now and then, and they come together so the vet can sedate and then Lucy does the teeth. Lucy O'Shaughnessy Equine Dentist.

Marulan Veterinary Hospital has a new vet, Celia, who specialises in exotic animals. She is there only on certain days though, so you would have to ring first.
