I'm very surprised by the negative comments about Crain Vet. I have used them for over ten years and love them. They are affordable, and very caring. They helped my dog lived 2-3 more quality years. One holiday weekend, Dr. Jerry even took my dog home with him to look after him. I've kenneled there as well and my dogs seem to like the staff.

Grain Valley....but, what are you needing? I feel like the GV vet is better for shots and smaller things. We go to Blue Springs Animal Hospital for major issue a with ours.

Personally, I heard too many bad stories about Blue Springs & Crain to even consider them when we moved to Oak Grove in 2010. If we ever felt like we needed to go to another vet, we would go to Three Trails Animal Hospital in Independence. We have taken all our pets there previous to moving. Many of my family members still take their pets there considering they still live in Independence. However, Grain Valley (where we go now) has been amazing for EVERYTHING! Anytime something pops up, we call & get right in. Staff is super nice!

Grain Valley Animal Hospital (aka Eastern Jackson County). Much more affordable than other vets that I've been to in the past. They truly do care. One of our fur babies recently passed away at home and they were so kind and patient when my husband brought him in to be cremated. Prior to that, everyone was so kind. We will continue to go there for our other fur babies as well.
