When my gas oven stopped lighting it was caused by a burned out ignitor, which as I understand it is probably the most common cause (also on furnaces, which I've done as well). I diagnosed this with the oven manual handy, and replaced the part on my own, purchased at 1 st Source Servall; they carry the appliance parts and will sell directly to consumers. You'd have to wait for Monday but I just thought I'd throw this out there ;) I did recently have another appliance repaired by Johnson's http://www.johnsonsgrandrapids.com and was satisfied, they even came within a few hours of my call.
