Sherry L. replied:
Darcy (Chiropractor) at Anodyne is awesome! I also went to Dr.Anouk (Naturopath) at Anodyne for injections into my lower back.

Go see a physiotherapist. Kinesis is great. Most people aren’t aware but chiropractic is pseudoscience. https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/cracking-down-on-chiropractic-pseudoscience/

I go to Junction Point with Pugi also for double pulled shoulders. After 2 sessions I went from 30% movement to 85%. Really like it there and love the variety of times they offer from early morning to to evening.
Greta J. replied:
We were told that only about 7 sessions would be covered or so (15 min each) We took our daughter to the Glenrose Rehabitlation Hospital for physio this summer. You could stay at Ronald McDonald house possibly. Wish you well, as it's a tough journey
Hi all! Just moved to GP and an ankle injury from awhile ago has been giving me issues again. Can anyone here recommend a physiotherapist in town?
Shannon B. replied:
Access Physiotherapy. I see Brian there. He is not only a physiotherapist, but an avid runner. He has done running assessments on both me and my sister, to help with technique and injury prevention.

I second or third Nelson Cuff. He is amazing. I heard with some injuries it can be covered through AHS as well. If you are going through an insurance companies for a car accident make sure to talk to them too, I know when I was hit by a car the other persons insurance company offered to pay for my physio as well
Dawn B. replied:
Heads up physio is paid for following surgery/recovery, however once that runs out that when benefits kick in and if not than out of pocket. If I can help in any way it would he to direct you to Dr. Young out of the family medicine clinic on 84 th Ave. He is a podiatrist and has credentials..I had a ladder let go from under me and went thru he'll for the first 3 yrs following as the family doctors are NOT trained in this area, they know the basics but that's it.. Good luck on your road to healing, keep your chin up, you can do it as what doesn't kill us makes us stronger

^^^^ TRUE Janet at Access is the owner. She is the most amazing Physio ever....I try to tell people to believe in what she does and people get skeptical....but just wait Til you actually go...you will be amazed if you just let her do her thing. Any one I have ever sent to her has been very satisfied!!
Nessa L. replied:
I strongly recommend LifeMark. Nelson Cuff was fantastic. I'm also pretty sure your first appointment at least is covered by Alberta health
Carrie P. replied:
I strongly recommend Life Mark. I went for physio for months years ago and so much was covered by alberta health care then my husband's benefits covered the rest. I am not sure how many or if they cover visits now. I wish you all the best.
looking for recommendations for a good sports physiotherapist in Grande Prairie
Heather W. replied:
Dr Kenzie Takeuchi at Anodyne chiropractic is amazing and although he is a chiropractor He has helped me for the last 6 years with my sports related injury. I haven't seen anyone else other then an amazing physiotherapist through the chronic pain clinic. Dr Arlan Brown is another good one to go to. My brother sees him and says he's amazing and that's saying a lot because he is really picky
Just looking for some suggestions/experiences on Physiotherapists.. I have to see one for my ankle and am not really sure where to go.. Thanks in advance!
