dr Michael Geraldi in Miami dade is very understanding about not vaccinating. I don't know if he takes Medicaid, but he accepts CMS.

Can anyone recommend a good Family doctor at Siskiyou Community Health Center in GP to serve as my daughters pediatrician? What are you experiences? Ohp providers.
Michelle B. replied:
Siskiyou takes both Allcare & Primary Health. If you are wanting to go there I would suggest Dr Miller and she is accepting new pediatric patients. For an actual pediatrician i would recommend Dr Johnston as Siskiyou Pediatric and I'm pretty sure they take both of those OHP plans as well
Myki L. replied:
Dr. Molteni
Debra B. replied:
Lisa Callahan is great and does take OHP my grandkids go to her and she is great w them .
Elisha F. replied:
Lisa Callahan has her own office on 6 th St. & she is wonderful. My children have been seeing her for 13 years! Yes she exempts OHP.
Joanna N. replied:
Dr. Kristin Miller at SIskiyou Community Health Center. She is extremely good.
Christina H. replied:
I would go to Katherine Johnston at siskiyou pediatric they take ohp
Christy L. replied:
Dr. Johnston is awesome. I, myself had questions and was hesitant about some immunizations. She took the time to explain all of the benefits and risks associated with immunizations. Char, her assistant is awesome too.
Jamie C. replied:
Dr Molteni or Dr Phillips at GP Clinic
Elizabeth M. replied:
Lisa Callahan
Teri E. replied:
Dr. Johnston! Her assistant is just as awesome! We have nothing but good things to say about her. She is honest about shots, supports extended breastfeeding, and baby led weaning. Topics that others won't even talk to you about. Love her office.
Lisa H. replied:
Dr. Burnett is a great Pediatrician at Siskiyou Pediatrics. I have noticed that some keep associating their office with Siskiyou Community Health Center on this post and another one I read but they are not connected despite the names. I know this has nothing to do with your question but I am just putting it out there.
Krista G. replied:
My kids see Dr.Burnett. I wouldn't recommend tho. She missed a vital diagnosis with my daughter. If she had gotten off her high horse and listened to me it would have been caught so much sooner.:(
Samantha W. replied:
My daughter has Lisa Callahan and she's great!
Jennifer H. replied:
I believe Kristin Miller is at SCHC and i have heard good things about her...other than that i just hear that the clinic is very busy and hard to get in to
Jami K. replied:
My son and I had Dr. Miller for years and because she only works certain days she's not very easy to get into. I switched to Gp Clinic, my son has Dr Molteni and loves him, he's also seen Dr Phillips when Molteni wasn't able to get him in.
Bonnie W. replied:
Omg! Lisa Callahan is the best my kids have seen her for 10 yrs
Angela B. replied:
Dr. Nima is awesome
Elizabeth P. replied:
Just go to Siskiyou Peds behind the hosp. They are wonderful
Janet G. replied:
Saw Lisa Callahan years ago and she was such a kind individual I wanted her instead of the MD
Linda R. replied:
Dr. Nema is good.
Misty S. replied:
Dr. Miller is great!
Angela B. replied:
Dr. Nima is a doctor that treats everyone for pretty much everything I have numerous conditions one being Lupus he's also my husband and infant daughters doctor as well
Rebecca F. replied:
Bruce Towers
Jennifer H. replied:
Dr. crispen did not retire! He was basically "voted" out of the practice that he built! Siskiyou Pediatrics is terrible! Dr. Crispen was such a great doctor, and now very occasionally he covers at Pediatrics TLC:))
Carinn G. replied:
My kids see Dr Marshak and he is great! When my oldest was born she went to the nursery and then had to get transferred to the nicu in Medford and he wasn't even her doctor and he stayed the night taking care of her. He is a very caring doctor.
Gail G. replied:

SCHC isn't the best for children honestly. I would recommend Siskiyou Pediatrics or Dr. Molteni at the Grants Pass Clinic.

Can anyone recommend a good family doctor or pediatrician in Grants Pass?
Chuck J. replied:
Debbie Ayoli for a pediatrician. She is pretty cool. Good doc.
Sarah F. replied:
Debbie Ayoli is a fabulous pediatrician!
Jen A. replied:
Debbie is a nurse, isn't she? I like her, just not sure if you want a nurse or a doctor. I got hosed by that practice after having both kids there for years, so I can't recommend them... But, I do like Dr. Jeremy Hitchcock at the GP Clinic. His wife is in our homeschool group. Very good doc, great bedside manner, and plans to stay put here. The Clinic is also nice because they have their own lab and x-ray department, so you don't have to go to the hospital for that kind of stuff. They also have an same day clinic if your doc or someone in his group can't see you that day.
America F. replied:
Ayoli is a N.P. and she mis diagnosed my son several yrs ago which almost killed him when she was on call that night not to mention it took her way too long to respond to the call, so I cannot recommend her either...but Dr Young is a phenomenal pediatrician!

Dianne Y. replied:
New patient appointments take much longer than established patients and the medical offices schedule only a few each week. That's why it takes so long to be seen the first time (good insurance included). Sometimes six months or more, and when it get close to your appointment day, the office calls and says Dr X is no longer accepting new patients. It's frustrating to say the least. We bypassed the wait list problem with a legitimate ER run. They will assign you a followup with a doctor and you will be seen much sooner. Once you are seen by a doctor of a particular medical group you are an 'established' patient and can either stay with that doctor or another one in their medical practice.
Lisa E. replied:
Best Bet is to call the OHP carrier like Allcare or Josephine Health...who ever is .later on your ohp card...they can tell you who is taking patients...very few docs are taking new patients and if they have their quota of Allcare patients they will only take the other coordinated care organization. Its easier to call them then call up 100 mds to be told no. Good Luck. Also...if you have multiple health issues...you should see an md instead of a fnp...
