high dose vitamin C treats chicken pox so I am sure it would treat shingles if she was to get it. Find a doctor or naturopath in your area that does high dose intravenous vitamin C. Then she doesn't need the vaccine because she has a treatment plan in place should she get shingles. http://www.doctoryourself.com/klennerbio.htmlDr. F. R. @Lydia- Dr. John greenwood is Ok with no vaccs. He was with anitoch family care but just switched offices. You can call them and they will tell you where he went.
Kellista K. replied:
I see Dr. Brooks in Olathe. He doesn't endorse vaccines and charges extra for them (not even sure they would do them in office). He's very accepting of non-vaxing patients.
Katie O. replied:
I also use Dr Brookes in Olathe. He's great, and has even communicated with me on the phone after viewing a photo via text on a reaction my son was having. He takes his time with people, too.
@Lydia - Dr. Brooks in Olathe. I called just a week ago. Definitely OK with not vaccinating.

For the Cape Coral/ fort Myers area, I understand dr. Switzerland at Island Coast Peds is great! However, one of the nurse practioners has been known to be pushy. Also, dr. Williamitis down in Bonita is great too. Hope this helps:)
Brandy B. replied:
Dr. Brooks is great but he no longer accepts insurance so we can't afford to see him. if you can afford it, go with him

Ray Millete is my primary too. Easy going office, always willing to call in a script when needed. Makes referrals quickly and supports alternative medical choices. He's never shoved his medical opinion down my throat either, which is huge for me since I pretty much don't trust doctors. Lol. Good thing he's a nurse practitioner. ;)
Gail G. replied:
Bill, when you refer to Medical-Home are you referring to the qualification of being Med-Home?? If so WellSpring Family Practice is doing just that. I believe we are currently a level 3 Med-Home and almost ready to become level 2.

A Dr. Ford took great care of my mother until she passed 2 months ago from Alztimers. He is in GP.
Amanda J. replied:
There are wonderful services in GP that can pick you up and take you to an appointment. They will also bring you home. This might open up a lot more options for you as far as finding a doctor. I to have heard wonderful things about Ray Millete. Fogg is nice, but is so busy that I feel there isn't a lot of time to every really talk to him. Very quick visits...lots of leaving messages at his office.
Try Dr. Williams at Mountainview. I love him, he's great with Cam and I see him too.
