Any recommendations for an optometrist in Modesto area?

http://www.lasikvisioninstitute.com Seriously, you won't regret it. They are the cheapest and the best for Lasik surgery starting at only $299 per eye plus they offer a 0% interest financing. They have an office in Modesto. I did it back in '06 and have had perfect vision ever since!

I use the dude at Costco, pretty good guy. If you are looking for a more expensive guy, I used to go to Dr. Elliot and he is great.

Stanislaus Vision Associates (in the McHenry village) great staff, flexible appointment times... Hands down the BEST!!
Sorry might be a stupid question, does anyone know where to purchase cosmetic colored contacts??? I used to live in Nevada and able to buy them called a couple places...
Annette W. replied:
Costco had them a few years back. That's where I got them. They had Rx and cosmetic. Try their optical department. (541-734-2467)

They're a medical device that come in different shapes and sizes according to corneal measurements, which is why a doctor needs to fit you and prescribe. Many issues have occurred with unprescribed cosmetic lenses, such as; corneal scratches/cuts/tears, eye ulcers from your eye being oxygen deprived due to overwear or the contact being made of inferior materials, and bacterial infections from the lenses being expired and/or soaked in something other than saline. You need your eyes to see, but nobody thinks about that when they're putting contacts in their eyes that they found in a BMX shop in a back alley.
