I have looked on line but I am unable to find a cafe or restaurant that sells a good ole corned beef on rye sandwich (and a kosher dill pickle!). I can find places that...

Starwood Cafe right here in Flower Mound serves up homemade corned beef hash and it is awesome. Call and ask them if they will minus the hash.
Danielle M. replied:
Ok not incredibly helpful today but down in Houston they have a place called Katz Deli (same kind they have in NYC). Humongous sandwiches and delicious. If you're ever down that way check it out.
Can anyone recommend a dicer? Maybe what I want doesn't exist unless you're buying restaurant equipment, but I want to be able to dice my potatoes, carrots and onions...

Here's the one I use. Think I got it at Wally World, but here's a pic of it and at the link, a video from Bed Bath & Beyond. http://video.bedbathandbeyond.com/v/10080/progressive-onion-chopper-food-prep-gadgets/

The KitchenAid Slicer/Shredder attachment and the The Cuisinart Food Processor work well for some things. Mostly, I use a good knife. I partially bypass the knife with some recipes by using the blender. For example, I make a soup base by removing the seeds from tomatoes/peppers and put them in the blender.

ive been on a major diet and exercise binge so I would say Roman Cucina or Maggiano;s. I really want the zucchini at Maggianos.
I was going to say Twisted Root or Haystack. Recommended Haystack since one of your neighbors sisters makes the buns! Man, now I'm Craving one.
Jenny J. replied:
After the fact, I get it but Big Shucks is great cause you can go on side patio (typically never has anyone) and let the kids run free and get dirty like kids should do in The summer time;)
Rebecca L. replied:
Twisted Root is delish, as is Urban Eatz in the same shopping center (if you don't necessarily want burgers). The outdoor fountain and mini park area is pretty kid friendly. Plus, there's a little frozen yogurt shop in the center, too.
