Try to find a hotel near a stop on the Metrorail Red Line, maybe Rockville MD. Northwest DC and Bethesda MD are very pricey. http://www.wmata.com/rail/maps/map.cfm

This is where I usually stay. It is not plush accommodations by any stretch of the imagination, but it's cheap, convenient to everything, and kind of a tradition for me to stay there. http://www.hotel-harrington.com/#

Testing Sites Does anybody know where to get a COVID-19 test in Greensboro? My fiance is a flight attendant and she's showing symptoms, but nobody seems to be willing or...

Does she have a local PCP? Call them first. If not, Does she have an active mychart account with cone health? If she does, she can do an online e visit for corona for free. If she meets criteria for symptoms she will get an order and get the test done.

Call 211 and see what they say. I'm a partial resident to GSO nowadays so I don't have any other advice other than to call the NC COVID Hotline Good luck and stay well!

If you have a recommendation to be tested by a dr, I think you can use this drive-up testing site: https://www.wxii12.com/article/cone-health-to-start-drive-thru-covid-19-testing-greensboro/31669598

There's no place to go to just get tested on your own. Call your doctor or the [health department](https://www.ncdhhs.gov/divisions/public-health/county-health-departments) and explain. If you have any sick time or PTO now would be the time to take it.

The test takes several days which still might not help her for her shift tomorrow. Novant has a page and a screen center in Kernersville - maybe see if any of these resources will help: https://coronavirus.novanthealth.org/
GOETHEFAUST87 replied:
They won’t test her until her symptoms are “sever enough” for them to actually do it. This is because they don’t have enough and it’s their futile bullshit way of trying not to test everyone who shows signs. I’m sorry, I hope she feels better soon.

Here is all the information from Novant that they are doing they have evisits and testing centers. https://coronavirus.novanthealth.org Hope she gets better soon
yung_coog replied:
I can't be certain they will do the test, but when I called my doctor yesterday the receptionist told me they're only testing people who show symptoms. Not sure if they'll give you the runaround if you're a new patient, but here's their contact info. Greensboro Medical Associates (336) 373-0611.

Covid 19 tests in this area are taking 1 week or more to come back. I know people firsthand who have been waiting a full week for results and we still haven't gotten them.

FastMed off Elm/Eugene -- got my test results back in 3 days, and I did not need a doctor's rec.
