According to every radio commercial ever, your wife is very eager to tell her friends that you went to Jared. Hops Burger is still owned by the same guy who owned Spring Garden Pizza. Actually, I think he brought in some new partners as part of the rebrand, but he's still around. We went (or tried to go) to SGP on their reopening night as Hops and were very sorely disappointed. Not that Hops is bad, I agree, just we had our hearts set on those astonishingly good starters that SGP served. And I'm sorry to say, we haven't been back. We're not avoiding it per se, it's just that when you're in a town with Emma Keys and Big Burger Spot and even Fincastles, trying to be a great burger place is a tall order. Especially when you were already the town's best bar-food place.

I go usually to Schiffman's, but they might be a little high. But they provide the best work in just about everything I've brought them, like family heirlooms and jewelry from abroad, they were pretty good at it.

I got my wife her engagement ring at Royal Diadem in GSO. They gave us a fair price on some trade in gold and diamonds. They also did nice custom work and gave us a fair rate. Was pleasantly surprised by the tasty burger I had there.

I bought my wife's engagement ring at Royal Diadem Jewelers off of New Garden. I selected an Art Carved ring with two matching stones and inlaid my wife's grandmother's stone in the middle. I was referred to them by my father after he had a number of successful purchases from them for my mother. While I was in the store doing my purchase of a standard design I noticed an 18 ish year old kid designing a custom ring on a large HDTV with the assistance of one of the employees. The Diamond Gallery has been really good to me. I broke my engagement ring the week I got it (car accident) and the owner prioritized my ring in repair order because "new rings need to be on hands to show off." bought my wedding bands there. Husband broke his working on the car 3 weeks after the wedding... Replaced no questions asked.

Stick with local! I got my wife's ring sized and cleaned at Fentress Jewlers on Spring Garden. Friendly staff and a quick turn around.

I recommend [Royal Diadem jewelers](https://www.royaldiadem.com) on New Garden Road. I brought my mother’s watch there because I thought it was broken and they cleaned it and replaced the battery and got it working again.

Technically Walmart can do it, and the last time I did that it was free with the battery purchase. I wouldn’t recommend it on any watch worth more than about $50, though. If you want to pm me pics and details of your watches, I can help you do it yourself if you want, although again I wouldn’t do it to any watch of value since you don’t know what you’re doing...
