Joyce L. replied:
Thomasville OBGYN the best!! Dr. Dorton is my favorite, he delivered all my babies but other Dr. In the office have delivered all my grandbabies!! Haven't been to Thomasville Hospital for anything else but the maternity floor can't be beat!! My cousin just had her baby there after having her first 2 babies in Texas Dorton delivered and she loved it!! Good luck!!
Becky J. replied:
Pinewest is where my sisters and i go. Dr. Jacobs is leaving in November (sorry, Melissa), but i love Dr. O'Keeffe. He delivered Carrigan.
Jennifer B. replied:
Dr. Taavon at Wendover Obgyn is great
Rebecca B. replied:
Dr Patel is the best!!! He just delivered my baby in July. I trust him with my life!!!
Lisa C. replied:
Hands down, Dr. Van Fletcher in High Point. He literally saved my life when I had anemia....

Farrah C. replied:
Michelle Grewal at Physicians of Women of Greensboro on Green Valley Road. Precious! Personal! Cared about my freakishly obsessive birth plan - all four times.
Katrina H. replied:
Dr. Dorton is the best in Thomasville. I sent my friend to him and she loves him.. Christian values too.
Brittany B. replied:
I really like central carolina obgyn...the nurse midwives and the PA there are amazing. I go to cornerstone at premier (north high point) and see the PA there. Her name is Elizabeth Todd and she is FABULOUS
Crystal G. replied:
Dr. Dorn in HP for OB/GYN. He has midwives on staff and was supportive of my decision to home birth, and I continue to go to him for check ups because I like him and his staff. I don't have or need a separate physician as he runs a panel of blood work on me every couple of years and I don't take any prescriptions.
Michael H. replied:
I have to second Dr Dorn like Crystal said. I left Thomasville OBGYN and went to him and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
Kari B. replied:
I go to High Point OB. Dr. Patel is awesome. All the doctors there are great!
Courtney H. replied:
Well 11 of you said to go to high point OB. Of this was based on popularity they win the vote. I live in Greensboro and would like to go somewhere close but based on yalls feedback and my own research of HP OB. I think I like Dr. Dorn. I will want a midwife one day and even like the idea of home birth and he believes in both. Is Dr Patel at the same one or is it two different ones. Do I have to ask to see a certain one? Thanks again ladies. I appreciate it!!!
Daniel K. replied:
Yes-- definitely think long term towards kids when choosing! You could always call a few offices and ask to set up an interview or just interview over their phone on certain procedures and things that would be important to you when the time comes. With L, I was at Physicans for Women and found them to be very pushy with vaccinations and induction.... which pushed me over to Central Carolina with H where I went for the option of water birth at the hospital with a midwife. I'm happy to see that more ob's are getting on board with natural birth options
Alright ladies I am in a bind. My OBGYN has flown the coop and I am stranded without one. You have any suggestions? Oh and I am looking for a dentist as well. The one I...

I'd suggest Dr. Kay Perry to be your dentist. She's on Mackay Road at Adams Farm.
Can any ladies in the Greensboro area recommend a good gyno office? I am specifically looking for an office that does NOT do any obstetrics.
Sarah N. replied:
