Hi Facebook friends, so as I'm sure you all know, I'm getting married and we are desperately searching for a venue that can accommodate roughly 50 to 80 people. It...

Alena, look into the Paris Mtn area. It's right outside of Greenville and fairly pretty. Might have some open air type of meeting area. It's been 15 years since we were there so I'm sure things have changed. Of course BJU is there and may be able help suggest things. We went to Heritage Bible church for a while. They almost always had sandwiches on special Sunday nights. They may know of catering options for ya. They had a nice building also. First thoughts I had for ya

Sleepy Hollow in Clemson, SC - adorable and affordable! Went to a wedding there and it was just awesome.

Also, I would highly recommend Paul Blumer for catering. Streetside Catering. He's incredible!!

Any suggestions for a caterer for April in Greenville area?
Venus O. replied:

Does anyone have any good suggestions of a catering company? Looking for someone for the wedding!
Savannah H. replied:
Ours was like a buffet.. It was cheap and they were really nice and they set it up beautifully. There might be a couple pictures in my photo album wedding of the food but I don't remember if I uploaded them or not, if not I can send you some if you'd like.. Her name was miss money and her company is called rainbow sweets.. I think her website is rainbowsweets.net..
Best place for a bra fitting in Madison for people with larger busts? I’ve been going to La Lingerie for years after a bad experience with Contours on the west side....
BlueLunch replied:
Next closest place is Althea's in Milwaukee, worth the drive. She has the skills and will mail product to you if it's not in stock when you visit.
b-muff replied:
I like Soma. I also had a bad time with Contours; my bras were breaking after 2 months of wear and they told me that’s just what happens to busty women. Uh no, I’m not buying an $80 bra every 2 months. They also don’t let you pick out bras from their stock or tell you your size to you can order from other places. Wtf! I went to Soma and the fitting person told me Contours measures super small which is def why my bras were breaking. Soma does measurements, they allow you to pick out your own bras, and they tell you your size so you can order online if you want. Soma has much better prices than other places too.

Torrid does bra sizing. Their sizes start at 36B and go up to 52 or 54 H.
DarnPeaches replied:
No recommendations, but I am so bummed about La Lingerie reducing operations. I had just started shopping there in January and they have been nothing but wonderful.
PolkaDotBalloon replied:
I had a decent experience with contours though it's frustrating that the bras I bought had tags removed and they didn't tell me my size. But if you need a bra quickly and don't mind that, they had a lot and were helpful. I actually found Fleet Feet to be solid for larger sizes of sports bras. I second the recommendation for a bra that fits sub, their size calculator thing is great.
pixiespaz replied:
I used to think Contours was OK but pretentious until I went in and was offered a gift for how much my purchase was. Great! It was a Mary Kay foot rub and a car for the owner of the shop's Mary Kay side hustle. This just really rubbed me the wrong way. I second spending time on /r/abrathatfits and purchasing online from companies that allow returns. I've had some hits and some misses but no MLM pitches.

I'm so sad about La Lingerie. They were the best. I've never been anywhere else locally for a fitting, but Nordstrom does good fittings and there is one at the Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa.
UberPantsMonkey replied:
I'm gonna watch this because I'm sad about La Lingerie. I used to like contours until they got really shady with cutting off the tags and calling that "custom fit".
antiquack replied:
Is Madison a requirement? The only 2 "professional" ones I've had here were all wrong. Went online to breakoutbras.com and never looked back. Half an hour on the phone with ones of their reps and you'll know exactly what size you need and what style to look for. This through pregnancy, nursing, weight gain and loss, and 16 yrs of normal aging. Free return shipping for anything that doesn't work out. Enormous selection and top notch service with experts.
along_withywindle replied:
r/abrathatfits is the place to go! With Amazon Prime and other online retailers with free returns, it's super easy to try things on at home and keep track of what you've tried!
kwm608 replied:
I was hoping to get in for a fitting at La Lingerie too! I am happy with the bras I got from Contours, but I agree that their customer experience is weird. I was able to remove the tag they put over the size after I purchased a bra. I practically begged them to tell me my size because I was struggling to find bikini tops that fit post BA and they wouldn’t. Just said over and over “you have to try a bunch on”…
