Dr. Graddeus in Burke County is fantastic....he is about 100 years old but he knows his stuff and he is the cheapest I have ever dealt with. He fixed my baby for less than 1/4 of what anyone around here would do it for.

I agree, Heartsong is the worst. If it is worth the drive for you, I love Wester Vet Clinic in Thompson- a long ways out, but they don't charge the 30-60 office fee and really go out of their way to help.

I don't know what is affordable. I've only ever taken my babies to Evans Animal Hospital. Really nice vets there, but a drive from your house.
