There is an emergency vet in Augusta. It's Augusta Animal Emergency (706) 733-7458 on Stevens Creek Road right of I20. Get him there ASAP. He probably needs some sub q fluids.

Kitty is now at the emergency vet at St Francis Animal Hospital in Augusta thanks to an amazing woman who saw this post! We just brought him and hopefully he will pull through and live a happy life with his new mom!!!

Noreen, I moved to Aiken last October with my horse, Westie and kitty. I also live off of Silver Bluff. My Westie, Henry, and kitty, Evie, go to Aiken Veterinary Clinic on Richland. My kitty sees Dr. Barber. They are very nice there and I can recommend them without reservation. Dr. Groover takes care of a friend's cat who has lymphoma. Dr. Groover has really helped, Loki.

I have lived here all my life and there are a handful of small animal vets I would recommend. I think Cindy Brown at Aiken Animal Hospital is wonderful and she is very honest. She has tended to my animals, and I have always had many, for years and years and years! Her number is 803-648-4401.

We have bred and shown dogs for 30 years. For the dogs we go to Aiken Vet on Richland. Charlie Timmerman, Groover and Barber. All are excellent. People also like Cindy Brown a lot and we started with her, she is very good but was just to expensive.

We are not currently breeding but I know there is a canine repro vet in town that people like Linda Quinn could tell you. You are moving to vet heaven, except for the prices. They are ridiculous. We had a dog that needed an ACL..They want like $3500 to do one here. I had one done in Nebraska years ago and it was like $500 so called that vet up and asked. It's $1100-1200, so guess what, I'm taking him back home and going to visit family and save $2000 in the process.
