Amanda, Im the Housing Programs Manager for Grey and run a program called Ontario Renovates...it's a provincial program that gives homeowners money by which is a favorgivable loan up to 15,000.00 - in which you meet the criteria... Are you in the count y of Simcoe? and if so called them.... Funding is usually in April and there is a waiting list but....I too keep emergency funds for situations like this.
