That is why I just switched to another doctor in the North Shore University Health System IM Lake Bluff North group. Dr. Munsell is great too, However I have known this group for year (formally North Shore). 1-847-295-8500 Dr. Steven Lasin is my personal favorite. Very highly regarded and respected at Lake Forest/Northwestern Hospital.

LOL Anywho, not quite sure what you're looking for but if it's of any help we've been going to our family doctor, Dr. Elliot Miller, for 10+ years. He's with LAKE FOREST internal medicine and we go to the Libertyville location (Off Hollister Drive) (847)573-8574.

Dr. Steven Lasin. He is part of a group and the office is in Lake Bluff on Waukegan Rd. just north of hospital by the Dominick's in the medical buildings. Used to have his office where Rush/Resurrection is now. His father saved my daughter's life in the 90's. (also a doctor).

If we had to go in an ambulance (from home) we would be taken to LF Hospital, so we want someone who has an association with NWLFH. (Although hospitals use "hospitalists" to do the inpatient care now.) We learned the hard way in 2012 when Rick was at Highland Park Hospital and our doctor, who knew him, was completely out of the loop. So we switched then to a North Shore University Healthcare System guy (whose practice is actually in Lake Bluff, and used to be called Lake Forest Internal Medicine) but aren't thrilled with him so thought maybe now would be the time to try to pull it all together. Oh, for the good old days.

Definitely interview your options and dont settle. I go to Dr Michael Sommerfeld, he's in Lake Bluff right at 43 and 176. He is part of North Shore and has affiliation with LFH. I love the Northshore group and they have an awesome website where ytou can sched appts, message your doctor or nureses, refill prescriptions etc. It is very convenient. As for the Dr, he is very patient and takes the time to listen and understand your issues. You never feel you are being rushed through an appt.
