Chelsea Votel in the Inked Korea group is pretty much an encyclopedia of Korean tattoo artists. I'd ask her if younknow what style you want and she can set up meetings.

Hi Guys ^_^ any recommended tattoo artist in Gwangju? I would highly appreciate if you could share their instagram so i could check their work :)
Thank you
Miho tattoo. It's downtown, one of their artists is from the US. Don't have their instagram but I can attest to his good work. I imagine searching 미호타투 should yield some results.

Club Hipster Barbershop’s owner has a lot of original ink on his arms from the American tattooist that Sam is speaking of, If it’s the same guy. Apparently he works between here and Seoul. Based on JM showing me his ink the guy is highly talented.

Ask Tony Warren, Matthew Rehrig or Tim Han. I know they have gotten inked in Gwangju.
Michael F. replied:
NSOM (엔썸타투) is downtown, across from M Town (M 타운) & next to CLUB House (CLUB 하우스) in the 약도 area. 010-4400-6575 or 010-8865-4282. Designer speaks OK English, can translate everything to Tattoo Artist--they are clean & reliable, from what I've heard & seen.
Does anybody know if any of the tattoo parlors in Gwangju speak any English?
Niall C. replied:
I don't want to be 'that guy' that offers useless advice, but I've had three done at Ink Holic in seoul, they're fantastic, clean, professional, and really talented. Memento, the main guy, goes all over the world to different shows etc. They have a fb page and are well worth checking out. I know you asked for growing just, but just my 2 cents!
Nancy H. replied:
I think Tony Warren gets his done here somewhere, you should ask him.

If you're serious about getting quality work done, Apro Lee at Black Mark It is the best black-and-gray artist in the country, no competition. He's been doing some really unique stuff based on traditional Korean artwork. He travels a lot though - he does guest spots all over the world for most of the year so getting in to see him is hit and miss. The Inked Korea group is a good resource too. Chelsea would be the person to talk to.
It's a bit of a longshot, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a good tattoo artist in Gwangju. Preferably one who speaks a fair amount of English and is willing to...
Lindsay G. replied:
I went to a place called Tattoo Academy. The woman speaks English pretty well
I did look at the FAQ first, but didn't see anything about tattoo/piercing shops. My friend and I are thinking about getting a piercing but want to make sure we do it...
Nancy H. replied:
Tony Warren has gotten several done here. I would ask him.
Does anyone know of a reliable tattoo parlor in Gwangju or preferably downtown somewhere?
Niall C. replied:
I'd personally go to Inkholic Tattoo Korea in seoul, the artists are awesome, studios is open, clean and airy, and they really look after you well. They've done two of mine, one really big piece and the artwork/quality is immense. Well worth the time to go see them IMHO
Hi everyone! I have a piercing question: Does anyone know any proper piercers in Gwangju or the surrounding area? By proper piercer, I mean someone who uses a needle...
