Overall information is at http://www1.haifa.muni.il/aliya/pages.aspx?pageName=Ulpanim It doesn't have much contact info for Abba Hushi, but does claim that there are evening classes above Aleph. My best recommendation is to try and take one morning whe n you can walk in there about 8:00 (I know you may be busy most mornings but try to find one) and make some contact. You might also ask Smadar Stoller-Porat if she can help you make contact. Best of luck.

with abba hushi usually better just to go there before 1 pm and speak with Galli it's behind the bb courts across the street from Lynn Clinic

If considering different towns, I can highly recommend Gesher Al HaWadi in Kfar Kara we have quite a few English speaking families. The school is one of the Hand in Hand schools and there is also one in Jerusalem.

Ulpan Etzion is the main one in Haifa. I think this semester just started, spring semester should be in May. It's good to sign up asap There is also 'Not an Ulpan' and evening ulpan and through the university
Rebekah S. replied:
Ulpan etzion is great if you have a degree and are under 35. If not there are two others, abbi hushi, where I went, and Beit erdshtein. I recommend you speak with Smadar Stoller Porat. Welcome!
Aimee M. replied:
Hey Rebecca! Ulpan Etzion is amazing (caveat: if your level is already a Daled or above you will find it too simple). You can be accepted to the ulpan program even before you make Aliyah, be in contact with them about getting a spot. If you do the planning and acceptance beforehand everything should be set up when you arrive, you will just have to do a placement exam and they will explain the other steps to you

You can always try a Thursday/Friday combo in a SS hotel with a spa. These places will let you pay early for spa treatments and let you stay until out Shabbos. Kibbutz Lavi is top notch, albeit fairly pricey.
