Hi, can anybody recommend a good yoga class? Are there any studios that give yoga classes in English? Thanks :)
Sage T. replied:
Jael Bet Shashana teaches yoga in her studio on Hillel and speaks English. I do not know if it is the kind of yoga you want or not but it is probably worth a chat with her.
Deborah G. replied:
There are some at Makak at the Canada dorms here at Technion. https://www.facebook.com/MakakT?ref=ts&fref=ts

https://www.facebook.com/german.tulsidas?fref=ts this guy is one of the best instructors i've ever come across, being an instructor myself and having i criticising eye. He is pretty young but with about 15 years of experience, he is extremely professional, versatile, proper, creative, has VAST amount of knowledge, to the point, very reasonable pricing. His school is also called Kayvalia Yoga with German if you try and search on google :)

There is an Iyengar yoga studio very close to Merkaz Hacarmel. Tamar, the teacher, is very professional. Check out her website www.studiohamerkaz.co.il there are classes every day
Jael S. replied:
We have been making improvement to the studio and will reopen to the public shortly. Please call for private, small group and therapeutic classes. Classes start on time and pre-registration is required. Thank you all for the honorable mention! https://yogagarden.co.il/

I go to the Holistic Yoga Center at 4 Wedgewood. It's an Iyengear class, though - I don't know if that's necessarily what you're looking for. But the woman who runs it, Pessi, really knows her stuff. The website is here - it's all in Hebrew, but most of the instructors have very good English - http://www.yogacenter.co.il/

i had a great time at naya yoga, and the first month is totally free! you can join every class everyday. with around 400 NIS a month you can join EVERY CLASS, it's absolutely the cheapest in the neighbourhood. people are lovely and the classes are great, especially if you are a beginner. by the way on groupon.co.il you can also find huge discounts for a 10 classes coupon!
