Here's the info: http://www.haifa.muni.il/haifa/pages/drugstore.aspx - the one tonight is SUperpharm Neve Sha'anan, on 56 Trumpeldor St. The number there is 0778880440
I have a cold. I shan't be graphic but it ain't pretty. In London Id go to a pharmacy, speak to a pharmacist and they'd recommend me some pills and potions and id be on...

1) kupat holim is always cheaper, prescription or not - the working hours are much more limited, though. 2) Acamol cold/tsinun AKA dexamol cold AKA Paracetamol/Acetaminophen with added ingredients for drying mucus membranes - awesome for colds and with minimal side effects. Don't overdose of course, 2 tablets every 8 hours max. 3) Ibuprofen AKA nurofen AKA Advil - great for headaches, a bit less effective for fever and useless for snot. Taking a lot can damage stomach lining over time, and as an NSAID should never be taken with others of the same family (so be careful if you take aspirin as blood thinner). 4) reducing fever using pills can lengthen recover time, but is usually worth it to be able to function during sickness. 5) chicken soup (with lots of actual chicken and herbs like parsley/dill/celery) is surprisingly good for you, especially since it infuses you back with electrolytes. 6) for sore throats: tea with honey and lemon slice is great.

I went to Super Pharm. They were very helpful. Between my hacking and gestures we got things handled. He gave me Life Tuss Pro that helps with coughing (taste horrible, 20 drops in a spoon and wash it down with water 3X a day) and Solvex Tablets for mucus (1 tab 3 x a day with or after each meal).
