Electrician Recommendations? I have 10 light fixtures and 8 pot lights to install in a house I bought and would love some recommendations from the Halifax reddit...

Henderson electrical is great. And these new low profile LED pot lights make it super easy to do. No more big metal boxes in your joists.

Stay away from Pelham Electric! I used them and sincerely regret it, the owner's sons worked on my place. It was suppose to be a three day job with one person, took them eight with two and wanted to do more until I fired them. I had to hire some one else to come in and fix their mess. The other guy was great but doesn't take new clients. PM me though if you're stuck I can see if he'll change his mind.

I am a certified electrician in Halifax, kinda busy at the moment however.
I would recommend the person I spent 3 years working with Keith Dimmer (Dimmer lighting & electrical), he's been at it for 30 years, one man operation. I did about a dozen plaster house re-wires, lots of potlights (so many fucking potlights). Generally we could do everything without making any holes except a notch above the switch if there was no attic space or if it was a finished basement.
I've never met a better renovation electrician.
He's fast, honest and reasonably priced.
Edit; if your home is very old, split entry, has no attic or you are doing work in a finished basement the job will be a little trickier and price will reflect that

Does anyone have any recommendations for a handy man / carpenter or electrician? I have a couple of small jobs that are way over my head, but probably easy for someone...
