There was another Rich's on then Armistead Ave(Now Commander Shepard)at what is now Magrauder Blvd. Brandons Restaurant, a Shell station and a Hardees now occupy the property. The original Richs was on 39 th at about Chesnut. Started as an Open Air Veggy/fruit stand, later built a building on the site.

There used to be a Riches at the corner of what is now Commander Sheppard Blvd. and Magruder Blvd. Shell Station there now.

wow, y'all taking me back. I remember going to Nicks supermarket on Armistead ave and Pembroke across from old town. Then they moved Nicks supermarket to Lincoln st on the other side of old town into the building that used to house Safeway. and the old Nicks supermarket became Nicks Auto sales.
